Scott Ave Stage.

5PM - 6PM

Austin Counts

Tucson Bluesman Austin Counts draws on his Low Country roots and his appropriately hard scrabble experiences to write and sing the blues the way it was meant to be done. He has also given a platform to other roots, country, and blues artists in town through the founding of his record label Lonesome Desert Records.

Half-Broke Town

Half-Broke Town has a groovy, street music dynamic drawing from the vast spectrum of musical background of its members including gospel, funk, blues, rock, reggae and classical music. Songs can range from the soulful influences of blues to the edgy rhythms of hip-hop, easily adapting to both electric and acoustic performances. Sort of like Nina Simone met Jimmy Hendrix and hired a violinist.
