Things That Aren't Words
Things That Aren’t Words: Indie rock group Things That Aren’t Words is the vehicle for the music of Tucson singer/songwriter Adam Nixon. Recalling a range of artists from Elliott Smith to The Decemberists, Nixon’s brooding folk writing is brought to life by close harmonies and a pop energy, resulting in something effortlessly engaging and memorable.Website
Valley Queen: Valley Queen has blended their bluesy southern rock influences into creating an Americana Indie rock phenomenon that is lighting up stages all across the country. In the past year, Valley Queen has toured across the West Coast, recorded their “Our Vinyl Sessions,” and debuted their official music video “Who Ever Said.” The band has played along side other groups such as Lucero, LP, The Broadcast, and The Greyhounds while also making appearances at festivals such as CMJ, SXSW, Lightning in a Bottle Festival, Echo Park Rising, and Outside Lands Music Festival.Website
